Islander and art enthusiast Duffy wanted to do something creative for local charity The Island Haven and 'A Patchwork of Paintings' was born.
The premise? Tresco locals, school children, islanders from across Scilly, and professional artists with links to the islands all get given a blank 20cm x 20cm canvas. From there, they paint whatever comes to mind when Scilly is mentioned. Whether that's white beaches, boats and buoys, blue seas or puffins, the sky is the limit.
They will all be displayed at Gallery Tresco on the 10th July and there will be a very unique opportunity to get your hands on some incredible works of art.
With some pre-sale tickets on offer (second release coming soon) and tickets on the door, you can buy one ticket to guarantee one prize. It may be a local school child's work or it could just be the work of a professional painter; that is the risk you take, and all in the name of charity!

Tom Rickman, Maggie O'Brien, Gary Long, Iona Sanders, Nick Botting, Marie Mills, Gary Long, Imogen Bone, Richard Pearce, Lizzie Black and Stuart Kettle are just some of the artists who are taking part so make sure you buy a ticket!
What's more, two artists have even donated some larger canvases to the cause too. Included in the raffle, these will make amazing prizes!
Pre-Sale Tickets
A very limited number of pre-sale tickets are available to purchase below for those unable to make it on the night.
Just like tickets purchased on the night, each pre-sale ticket is guaranteed a painting from a school child, islander, visitor or professional artist.
Pre-sale tickets will be drawn on the night, just like regular tickets, and we will be in touch to confirm the painting you have won.
Please note: pre-sale tickets are limited to one per person to ensure as many people as possible have the chance to take part.
Please note: For pre-sale tickets where you are not attending on the night, postage and packaging will be payable by the winner. Again, we will contact you to confirm the cost following the draw.
