The New Inn
The New Inn is our traditional island inn, offering all-day dining and drinking inspired by the changing seasons of land and sea...

At the heart of Tresco, The New Inn is our island local, adorned with marine relics and offering a warm welcome throughout the year.
Prop up the Driftwood Bar, gather around a table in the wreck wood-lined snug, soak up the sun and the sea views on the terrace, or enjoy a relaxed and intimate dining experience in the Pavilion.
The bar is open throughout the day for drinks, with food from a hearty breakfast to morning coffee; a classic pub lunch to a wholesome dinner after a day's island adventure. Every Sunday, you can indulge on a roast with all the family and each day the entertainment differs, from live music to spectacular sunsets over New Grimsby.
Our talented kitchen team, led by Head Chef Liam Caves, work with the best local suppliers to serve great British classics with a Tresco twist, using as much locally grown, reared, and landed produce as possible. Our menus change with the seasons to make the most of the freshest produce available.
Then, in the summer months, we fire up the Ox Grill on the terrace, cooking over coals to bring to life the flavours and aromas of the finest local produce.
We serve delicious roasts for all the family every Sunday, without fail - no need to book!
