The New Inn
The New Inn is our traditional island inn, offering dining and drinking inspired by the changing seasons of land and sea...
At the heart of Tresco, The New Inn is our island local, adorned with marine relics and offering a warm welcome throughout the year.
Prop up the Driftwood Bar, gather around a table in the wreck wood-lined snug, soak up the sun and the sea views on the sheltered terrace, or enjoy a relaxed and intimate dining experience in the Pavilion.
The bar is open throughout the day for drinks, and the food ranges from a hearty breakfast to morning coffee and cake, a classic pub lunch, and a wholesome dinner after a day's island adventure. The entertainment differs each day, from live music to spectacular sunsets over New Grimsby.
Our talented kitchen team, led by Head Chef Liam Caves, works with the best local suppliers to serve great British classics with a Tresco twist. We use as much locally grown, reared, and landed produce as possible. In the summer months, we fire up the Ox Grill on the terrace, cooking over coals to bring to life the flavours and aromas of the finest local produce.
Our menus change with the seasons to make the most of the freshest produce available, but there's always a good hearty roast available every Sunday.
