By Air

Skybus flies to the St Mary's all year round from Land’s End and Newquay, and from Exeter between March and November.

Your Skybus flight takes just 15 minutes from Land’s End to St. Mary’s, 30 minutes from Newquay Airport, and from Exeter it’s an hour.

You’ll travel in an 8 or 19-seater plane, where you meet your pilot and watch them at work: it’s “real flying”, as one passenger put it.

Tresco Transfers

Tresco Transfers are available for all passengers arriving by air for £34 per person return. We'll meet you at St Mary's Airport and transfer you to St Mary's Quay for your short onward boat transfer to Tresco aboard one of our ferries or jetboats. You'll be met on Tresco and taken straight to your accommodation.

Land's End

The flight from Land’s End to St Mary’s takes just 15 minutes.

Land’s End airport is located close to the village of St Just, about eight miles from Penzance.

There is ample parking at the airport, or for those looking to travel to Land’s End by train, there is a frequent Great Western Railway service between London and Penzance, including an overnight sleeper. A Skybus shuttle bus will pick you up from outside Penzance railway station to take you to the airport. This shuttle bus can be booked through Isles of Scilly Travel.



The picturesque flight from Newquay to St Mary’s takes approximately 30 minutes, the plane hugging the north coast all the way down to Land’s End.

Newquay Airport is located on the North Cornwall coast, close to Watergate Bay and St Mawgan village, and is open all year round.

The airport is situated about five miles outside Newquay town centre. A taxi to the town costs about £15. There is also a bus service linking the airport and town centre. Up-to-date information about flight connections from Newquay airport is available on their website.



Skybus operate a regular service between Exeter and St Mary’s from March through to November. The flight time is approximately 60 minutes.

Exeter International Airport is situated five miles from Exeter city centre and five minutes from the M5 motorway. Exeter Airport is about 3 ½ hours (200 miles) from central London by road and Exeter St David’s Station is 2-3 hours from London Paddington by rail. There is a bus service that links Exeter St David’s Station and Exeter city centre with the airport.

Exeter Airport is not only a great hub for international connections but also has an extensive UK destination list including Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Guernsey, Jersey, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Norwich.
