26	27 Walking Tides Walking Tides October 27, 2026 (All Day) For most of the year, Tresco and Bryher are separated by a narrow channel of clear Atlantic water. But when the lowest spring tides arrive, the water retreats to reveal a temporary trail of sandbars and shallows between the two islands. The Tide Race

This spectacular 10km race begins on the island of Tresco and, thanks to a rare alignment of the sun and moon, the tide drops just long enough to reveal the famous sandbar allowing runners to traverse across the sand to Bryher
