Creative Scilly Festival

This week-long festival celebrates the islands' unique culture, from live music and dramatic performances to open studios and workshops and special guests.

This year's official line-up includes BBC Radio 4’s Nature Table, Miracle Theatre, live music with Mad Dog Mcrea, comedian Tamsyn Kelly, soprano Nancy May and Read Between the Wines, as well as a host of island talent opening their doors to the public with a bundle of creative workshops.

Here on Tresco, we're looking forward to a few special events.

Monday 13th May will see Soprano Nancy May take to the stage at St Nicholas' for an evening of music by candlelight.

Thursday 16th May will see another infamous Paint the Day Challenge at Gallery Tresco, where you can spend the day capturing your favourite Scilly scene in whatever artistic medium appeals.

Also taking place on Thursday 16th May is Miracle Theatre's 'The Quizzards' - a pub quiz with a difference. Gather your teammates at the Flying Boat Studio and grab a Tresco G&T from the bar downstairs before you take on the challenge!
