Property services manager
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience in luxury hotel and holiday cottage management to join our hands-on management team at Tresco Island on the beautiful sub-tropical archipelago, Isles of Scilly.

Duties Include:
- Leading a team of enthusiastic housekeepers, gardeners and maintenance staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained in all holiday cottages, hotel rooms and throughout public spaces
- Recruiting and managing a close-knit team of seasonal staff
- Ensuring all members of the team are trained to deliver the best service possible
- Leading the team with a hands-on approach
- Taking a lead role for legal compliance and company routines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and guests
- Overseeing any maintenance requirements ensuring a fast and efficient response
- Working as part of a wider island team that ensures every guest feels valued
- Ensuring expenditure is controlled within budgetary limits
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Will come from a commercial housekeeping background
- Must have very strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with guests and staff
- Will have proof of good leadership skills in managing a team of staff
- Is experienced in or has good knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing rooms
- Is highly organised and able to cope with multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude to learning new skills and adapting to demands
- Is able to consistently deliver excellent customer service
About Tresco Island:
Tresco Island is a family-run business on the Isles of Scilly, 28 miles from the Cornish coast, comprising Tresco Island and Hell Bay Hotel on the neighbouring island of Bryher. Tresco Island comprises timeshare and rental cottages, two restaurants, an inn, a world-famous garden, gallery, leisure spa, shop and a working farm. Hell Bay Hotel on Bryher is an award-winning boutique hotel with 25 suites, a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, Crab Shack, therapy shed, yoga studio and outdoor pool.
