Our Tresco Photography Break is brand new for 2021, offering three full days of photography tuition among Scilly's inspiring landscapes and seascapes, with four nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation at The New Inn, Tresco.
The break takes place from Monday 11th October - Friday 15th October 2021.
Explore the rugged heathland of the north end or the sheltered sanctuary of the Abbey Garden; the mica-specked sands of calm Appletree Bay or the craggy cliffs overlooking Cromwell’s Castle.
Enjoy friendly, practical and bespoke advice on camera-handling skills, exposure, filtration, image sharpness, composition and creativity. The group is limited to six people to ensure each participant gets the maximum benefit from the expert tuition.
You will follow Ross’ excellent “Dawn to Dusk” format. Each day will see the group embark on a dawn shoot, daytime session and sunset capture, as well as setting aside time to review and edit your images under Ross’ expert guidance.
The itinerary will depend on the weather and tidal conditions, but a normal day might be:
0630: Dawn shoot
08:30: Return to accommodation for breakfast, freshen up & downtime
1130: Tutorial / picture review
1330: Pub lunch, or packed lunch on location
1400: Afternoon shoot
1600: Evening/sunset shoot
1930: Return to The New Inn
