Department: Tresco Heliport

Salary: From £12.60 per hour, dependent on experience

Hours: Full Time, 2 days off per week

Contract Length: Seasonal, March-October (dates can be flexible)

Using excellent interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for greeting guests on arrival, and assisting with a smooth departure. As the first and last point of contact, this will be a crucial part of your role, as well as maintaining pride in your appearance to ensure first-class customer service.

You will be responsible for transporting guests from the quays and heliport to their accommodation using our fleet of electric buses, and assisting with any luggage (weighing up to 20kg).

You will be adept at answering guest queries, finding solutions and reassuring guests in the case of travel disruption.

Building effective relationships and getting to know new and returning guests, as well as the wider community, will be a key part of this role.

Maintaining and inspecting the vehicles will also be required, with any defects to be reported immediately to the Heliport Manager

• Should have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Have a full, clean driving licence (essential)
• Must be confident in driving larger vehicles
• Work well individually and as part of a wider team
• Should be a confident problem solver and able to think logistically
• Fit and able to lift baggage to and from boats and other vehicles
• Will be experienced in working to a fluid schedule which is subject to delay and changes depending on weather etc
