Salary: From £12.75 per hour, dependent on experience

The Role
Housekeeper
We’re looking for a hardworking and detail-focused housekeeper to join our friendly team on the beautiful island of Bryher.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to the highest standard, as well as checking for any maintenance or decoration issues and reporting these to the maintenance team.
You’ll also assist with laundry, changing linen and ensuring linen is correctly stored away, in addition to cleaning of communal guest and staff areas within the hotel.

Kitchen Porter
Your role will be an integral part to our kitchen teams, with responsibilities for cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas, as well as washing all dishes, pots, pans and other kitchenware to a high standard.
Food deliveries will require your assistance in storing correctly, and the role will require an organised individual to keep all areas clean and tidy, and health and safety rules to be adhered to at all times.
You may occasionally be required to assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff.
Please note: this position may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Training will be provided for specific tasks and responsibilities.

Housekeeper
- A perfectionist with a keen eye for detail
- Experienced in or have good knowledge of housekeeping
- Good at working efficiently as part of a team
- Willing to undergo any training provided to assist in the role
- Well-presented and maintain smart appearance (uniform is provided)
- Consistently hard working, flexible and enthusiastic
Kitchen Porter
- Previous experience working in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle and prepare food safely and hygienically, training will be provided if you do not hold the current necessary food hygiene certification.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
