Cottage Gardener
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small Cottage Gardening team, helping to maintain over 100 small gardens across the island.

Salary: From £12.75 per hour, dependent on experience
Benefits: Tips, full meals and accommodation provided
Hours: Full time, 2 days off per week
Contract Length: Seasonal March - October
The Role
As part of our small cottage gardening team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining over 100 cottage gardens and public areas across the island. Daily tasks will include hedge cutting, pruning, lawn-mowing and weeding of flower beds and borders, as well as arranging flowers for cottages ahead of guests arriving.
You’ll assist with maintaining all gravel and patio areas in and around our holiday cottages and commercial outlets, as well as ensuring public areas such as grass verges and pathways and kept neat and tidy.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Must have a clean valid driver’s license (essential)
- Ability to use and maintain petrol mower and strimmer (essential)
- Gardening experience and relevant gardening qualifications advantageous
- Ability to work outside in all weathers
- Able to work on own initiative and enjoys a challenge
- Ability to develop and landscape small areas as required
- Good customer service skills are required as there may be some interaction with guests
