This is a cottage with sand, salt air and island life wonderfully close. The garden slopes gently towards one of Tresco’s loveliest beaches, with succulents, agapanthus and cordylines leading the way down through the planting. Morning swims, low-tide wanders and children running barefoot between lawn and sand all feel part of the rhythm here.

Inside, Just Home is colourful, comfortable and full of light. The generous lounge is the heart of the cottage, with calming pastel fabrics, botanical prints and a log burner for cooler evenings after the beach. Beyond the kitchen and dining space, patio doors open to the garden, making it easy to drift between indoors and out throughout the day.

Upstairs, three bedrooms offer relaxed space for family or friends, including an ensuite master bedroom and two further twin rooms. All beds are zip-linked and can be arranged as superking or twin by prior request, while a family bathroom at the foot of the stairs keeps the layout practical and easy.

Outside, the garden gives Just Home much of its charm. Top and bottom terraces offer different places to sit, eat, read, or simply take in the view across the curve of Green Porth towards Blockhouse Castle. The beach is close enough for a swim before breakfast, a paddle after supper, or one last look at the water before bed.

The location is wonderfully easy. The Ruin Beach Café is nearby for long lunches on the terrace, the Sailing School and indoor pool are close at hand, and Old Grimsby quay is a favourite spot for crabbing - a simple Tresco tradition for younger guests, and often just as much fun for the grown-ups.
