Approached through its own magnificent garden, with granite walls waiting beyond the greenery, Glen has a lovely sense of being tucked away from the world. Here, your closest neighbours are nature, birdsong and the island cricket field, yet Green Porth is only a few steps away when you feel like sand between your toes.
Inside, Glen is warm, homely and unpretentious, with a comfortable sitting room, log burner and country-style kitchen for easy island living.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms, with flexible zip-linked beds that can be arranged as superking or twin by prior request, making it well suited to families or friends holidaying together. Two bathrooms, including one ensuite, add space and practicality after beach days and salty adventures.
The location is wonderfully easy. Wander down to Green Porth for a morning swim, follow the shoreline to The Ruin Beach Café for lunch, or call into Hut62 to make the most of the water. Then return through the garden to the quiet of your own tucked-away corner of Tresco.
Secluded without feeling remote, Glen is a gentle, characterful base for those who want nature, the beach and Old Grimsby’s laid-back rhythm all close at hand.

Our cottages are well-equipped with a comprehensive inventory, which includes kitchen appliances and equipment, bathrobes, hair dryers, and an outdoor BBQ with tools. Bathrooms come complete with 100 Acres shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
This property comes equipped with a dishwasher. There is no washing machine at the property, however laundry facilities are available centrally with a small cost payable per load.
The Location
Hidden amongst its own little copse of trees, you only need venture a few steps from the property to feel sand between your toes - picturesque Green Porth is the nearest beach.
Just along the shoreline foodies will be pleased to discover the Ruin Beach Cafe, while those with a hunger for adventure will want to call in at Hut62 to arrange salty escapades.
