Tresco Owners Coronavirus Update - 3rd June 2020
The information below is for Tresco Islandshare and Timeshare Owners only; rental guests should view our separate Coronavirus Update.
I hope – first and foremost – that you are staying safe and well.
We have missed our Owners immensely over recent weeks; you are a vital part of our community and it has been an incredibly sad experience to not be welcoming you all to Tresco as usual. However, the important thing is that you, our team and the wider islands stay safe.
It seems there may finally be light at the end of the tunnel after the most unprecedented and quite literally incredible few months of our lives. We hope to reopen Tresco on 4th July, provided that government restrictions are eased and it is safe for our guests, team and the broader island community to do so.
We have all found ourselves in uncharted waters over recent weeks and months, and I would like to thank you for your patience, understanding and kindness to our team. They have been working incredibly hard and treading a fine line between providing the best possible support for our guests and Owners, and ensuring the long term sustainability of our island and community.
If Your Week Has Been Affected...
If you have been unable to take up your Islandshare or Timeshare week due to Coronavirus, the Dorrien-Smith family has offered, as a gesture of goodwill, to add an additional year to your contract. To arrange this, please telephone me on +44 (0)1720 424111 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
As I mention above, we currently hope to reopen on 4th July 2020. However, we'll only open when government restrictions are eased and when it is safe for our guests, team and the broader island community to do so.
Inevitably, when we do reopen there will be changes to the usual Tresco offering, in order to keep everyone safe. These are unavoidable and temporary changes, and we hope you will understand that our priority is to keep you, and our island family, safe. You can find out more on our Coronavirus Update.
We will always stay true to the things that make this place unique. Peace and tranquillity. Endless seascapes. Deserted landscapes. Finding a beach all of your own. Time and space to just be together. Purposeful afternoons shrimping in the shallows. Warm welcomes from familiar faces. These are the things that make Tresco special; the things we will all value even more now; the things that nothing will ever change.
Our lives may feel as though they have been turned upside down, but soon we will be able to welcome you back to your cottage on Tresco. We can't wait.

Weeks and Start Dates
If you cannot use your week, Tresco Estate can try and rent your week for you. There is a 20% commission (plus VAT) charge for this service for Timeshare owners; 10% for Islandshare owners. Please complete and submit the request form below.
If you would like to try and swap your week for a week on Tresco at a different time of year, please complete and submit the form below. We will then add you to the Internal Exchange list and email you the current list.
Have delicious wines waiting for you on Tresco, with special cases delivered directly to your cottage. We'll even pop the whites in the fridge.
