Tresco is my heaven on earth. The island horizons, graphical planting, and ever-changing skies are so inspiring. My happy place is a makeshift beach studio, painting the Tresco scenes I have loved since my childhood onto beach-found driftwood. My residency in February exposed me to the weather of Storm Ciara. Heavy skies, white shell-sand and aqua water created dramatic colour for me to enjoy in paint.
