Join Head of Estate and Gardens Alasdair Moore in the Valhalla Shipwreck museum for a late afternoon tipple and a deep dive into all things wrecks and smuggling on the Isles of Scilly.
Learn about the many shipwrecks that surround Tresco and the efforts islanders would go to to benefit from these impressive ships from far flung lands. Fascinated by the subject, Alasdair will share stories about the figureheads and the age of smuggling all over a cocktail using local SC Dogs rum from St Martin’s (or oak-aged gin from St Agnes for those who aren't rum fans!)
Please meet at the Garden entrance ready for a 2pm start and contact the Island Office if you have any special dietary requirements. Over 18's only. Please note this is event is weather permitting.
