Set along the winding lane through Dolphin Town, this is a cottage that feels deeply rooted in island life. The road drifts past the church, neighbouring cottages and leafy corners towards the eastern beaches, while the New Inn, Gallery Tresco and the harbour lie in the other direction. It is a wonderfully gentle spot: central enough for easy island days, yet full of quiet character.
Inside, Dolphin Cottage has a cosy, traditional feel, with low ceilings, simple charm and a warm sitting room with a log burner for cooler evenings. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms, with a superking master bedroom, a twin room and a bunk room that works especially well for children. Two bathrooms, including one ensuite, make it practical for family stays.
But the true surprise is outside. Hidden from the road, Dolphin Cottage opens into a spacious, sheltered subtropical garden - a generous green world of its own, with space for slow breakfasts, children playing on the grass, barbecues after the beach and quiet moments looking across towards the cricket pitch.
From here, the island is yours to wander. Follow the road one way for coastal adventures, Green Porth and lunches on The Ruin Beach Café terrace; head the other way, and you’ll soon find yourself at The New Inn, perhaps lingering a little longer than planned in the beer garden.

Our cottages are well-equipped with a comprehensive inventory, which includes kitchen appliances and equipment, bathrobes, hair dryers, and an outdoor BBQ with tools. Bathrooms come complete with 100 Acres shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
This property comes equipped with a dishwasher. There is no washing machine at the property, however laundry facilities are available centrally with a small cost payable per load.
