Rockpool

This is a cottage made for easy island days. Morning swims, paddleboards on the water, barefoot walks across the sand and long lunches at The Ruin Beach Café are all close at hand, with Hut 62 Boat Hire, an indoor pool and tennis court just moments from the door. 

From its hillside setting, Rockpool looks out towards island-speckled horizons - a place to watch the morning light move across the water, or settle in as the evening draws in.

Inside, the heart of the cottage is a generous open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, framed by two walls of picture windows that bring in the sea, sky and changing light. In the cooler months, the log burner gives the room a warm, cocooning feel, while underfloor heating keeps the cottage comfortable year-round.

The bedrooms are arranged in two wings, offering a natural sense of space and privacy. The master bedroom has its own seating area and ensuite, while two further bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a TV room with a sofa bed make Rockpool well-suited to families or friends holidaying together. 

Outside, three terraces link the bedrooms and living spaces with the open air, while a sunken private garden offers a sheltered spot for outdoor dining, lazy afternoons and children playing on the lawn.

With the beach, boats, pool and café all on the doorstep, Rockpool is a wonderfully sociable island base - relaxed, practical and full of light, with the sea never far from view.

Stealing half an hour for yourself with an evening dip in the nearby indoor pool – blissful!
