Coral

Overlooking Old Grimsby harbour and the coastline beyond, Coral is a bright, welcoming Sea Garden cottage with wide views towards St Martin’s and the Eastern Isles.

At A Glance

The Cottage

This is a cottage made for easy island living: morning swims at Ravens Porth, lazy lunches at The Ruin Beach Café, afternoons on the water and evening walks along the north coast towards Tresco’s castle ruins. With Hut62 Boat Hire, the indoor pool and tennis court all close by, Coral places the best of Old Grimsby almost at your feet.

Inside, the cottage is warm, comfortable and sociable, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space designed for time together. Oak flooring, underfloor heating, original artwork and antique touches bring a sense of quiet quality, while the log burner makes the living room especially inviting after a day outdoors.

Three bedrooms offer flexible space for families or friends, with zip-linked beds that can be arranged as superking or twin by prior request, and a double sofa bed available on request. The master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, and both the master bedroom and second bedroom enjoy sea views, bringing the outlook and island light right into the quieter corners of the cottage. A separate shower room adds practicality for larger groups.

Outside, Coral’s position makes it easy to slip into the rhythm of the east side of the island - down to the beach, across to the café, out on the water, then home again to sea views and the hush of evening over Old Grimsby.

Bright, generous and wonderfully placed, Coral is a relaxed coastal base for those who want views, space and the beach close at hand.

The Location

Stroll down the path to discover decadent dinners at the seafront Ruin Beach Café, or head in the opposite direction for rugged coastal walks towards two of Tresco’s castle ruins.
