Garden Student Alice Thompson writes one last time about life in Tresco Abbey Garden

Tresco Fete was a roaring success this year with a brilliant turn out, fab music and loads of fun in the sun.. and the rain!

We're delighted to welcome our new Watersports partner, Hut 62, to Tresco, offering motorboats, sailing boats and dinghies, kayaks and paddleboards to hire from Ravensporth Beach.

March has been full of sunshine and smiles as new and returning staff join us for the season and the island grows busier once again...

It is a beautifully still September afternoon when we decide to cycle down to the gardens and see what the team have been up to...

Throughout the past winter, we hosted volunteers in partnership with the IOS Wildlife Trust. They got stuck into island life, made a huge difference and we are so grateful to them.

Although their roots are across the world in New Zealand, Mel and Pete have chosen Tresco as their home for over two seasons. For them, nothing beats island life
