Mornings begin gently, with the smell of fresh pastries and Bryher Bakes, best enjoyed with Abbey Garden mint tea, a fresh fruit smoothie, or our rich Cornish Origin coffee.
From mid-May, the kitchen opens for leisurely brunches and lunches, with a seasonal, locally sourced menu shaped by island appetites - from St Ewe Eggs Benedict and smashed avocado on Hobbs House sourdough to Chalk Stream hot-smoked trout, warm brioche baps, sandwiches, salads and something sweet to finish.
We’re passionate about working with local growers, bakers, farmers and fishers. Every dish celebrates seasonal ingredients and honest provenance, whether it’s Bryher Bake Box cakes, Abbey Garden mint tea, St Agnes air-dried beef, Cornish seafood, or our smooth espresso blend from Origin Coffee in Cornwall.
On Thursday and Friday evenings from 16th July to 21st August, The Flying Boat opens into the evening for our Supper Evenings - a relaxed summer menu of generous, shareable dishes, organic wines, local drinks and easy evenings on the terrace as the sun slips towards the sea.
Join us for brunches that stretch into the afternoon, coffee and cake after a wander, or small plates and something chilled with a view. No need to book during the day - just drop in. Booking is strongly recommended for Small Plate Suppers.
