The Cottage
Facing south-east, the cottage catches the day beautifully as it unfolds - soft morning light across the harbour, brighter afternoons by the water, and a steady sense of the sea just beyond the door. Step outside and the cottage opens directly onto the Sea Garden lawn, with space to wander, pause in the sun or drift down towards the shore.
Inside, Samphire is relaxed, generous and quietly contemporary, with open-plan living spaces made for easy time together. Wide windows keep the view close, while the log burner and underfloor heating bring warmth and comfort through the quieter seasons. The small terrace just off the living space is a lovely spot for coffee, a simple lunch or a glass of something chilled after a day outdoors.
The cottage sleeps up to eight, with three comfortable bedrooms and a double sofa bed available on request. The master bedroom is a particular highlight, with its own balcony looking out towards the water - a peaceful place to begin or end the day.
Flexible zip-linked beds can be arranged as superking or twin by prior request, while two bathrooms and a separate shower room make the layout practical for families or friends sharing.
With the indoor pool, Sea Garden Spa, Ruin Beach Café, Hut 62 Boat Hire and tennis court all just moments away, Samphire offers that easy Old Grimsby rhythm: sea views, space, light and everything close at hand.

Our cottages are well-equipped with a comprehensive inventory, which includes kitchen appliances and equipment, bathrobes, hair dryers, and an outdoor BBQ with tools. Bathrooms come complete with 100 Acres shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
This property comes equipped with a dishwasher. There is no washing machine at the property, however laundry facilities are available centrally with a small cost payable per load.
