Oyster

At Oyster, the sea has a quiet pull - always there at the edge of things, changing with the tide, catching the light as the day unfolds and softens again towards evening.

Inside, the feel is easy and settled. Broad windows draw the view into the open-plan living space and master bedroom, while oak floors, underfloor heating and a log burner keep things comfortable without fuss. Doors are rarely closed for long; the air and sound of the water move freely through the space.

Sleeping eight, Oyster works naturally for families or friends sharing time together. Three bedrooms - a master superking and two twins that can be made up as superkings - sit alongside a generous, sociable living area. A sofa bed is available on request, offering a little extra flexibility.

To the front, a lawned garden opens onto the island, catching the sun as it comes round and offering space to sit or play. Beyond, the terrace sits closer to the shoreline - a more private spot, with uninterrupted views, made for slow mornings, something simple on the grill, or just watching the water.

The Sea Garden Spa and Ruin Beach Café are a short wander away - close enough when you want them, easy to leave behind again. Beyond, the island stretches out in its own time, but here, it’s the sense of being alongside the sea - constant and unhurried - that lingers longest.

The terrace draws you out at day’s end - a natural spot for a drink or something on the grill, as the light softens and reflects gently across the islands.
