Participant Feedback
Our first Tresco Writing Retreat took place in 2019 - here's what our participants thought:
'The retreat was lovely and just the perfect number of people to make it intimate and for each person to share. The morning sessions focusing on different aspects of a story were really good and Hannah had prepared lots of handouts which have been good to refer back to.
I really enjoyed it and would be interested in attending another one. Hannah is great, very knowledgeable and a generous facilitator.'
'Being a novice writer of fiction I had never had any guidance on if what I was writing was any good. So joining this retreat was a step into the unknown. Would what I was writing be any good? But from day one Hannah was a real encouragement giving good advice and helping me see the many areas where I can improve. As well as sound advice and wisdom Hannah provided every helpful handouts. I came away refreshed and inspired.
What was also beneficial was the mix of people that were part of the retreat. They ranged from published authors to people like me starting out. All added to the retreat with their experiences in writing. It was a time of learning, laughing and listening that I will treasure.
I for one will remember this as a special time spent in the wonderful setting of Tresco. May these Writing retreats continue for many years to come.'
