Our self-catering cottages and Sea Garden Apartments are dog-friendly throughout October, so you can share the magic of Tresco with your loyal companion.
With wide-open spaces, sandy beaches, and miles of coastal paths to explore, the island is a paradise for both pets and their people.
Ramble through the rugged landscape, pause for a pub lunch, and wind down in your cosy cottage after a day of island adventures.
To make your stay even more comfortable, we’ll provide a special pet hamper with bowls, a bed, towels, and a handy island map featuring both on- and off-lead walks.

Dog-Friendly stays are available exclusively throughout October, at £100 per dog, per week. Please note, dogs must be booked in advance.

We do ask that Dog Parents take a look at our Canine Contract. This aims to strike a careful balance, allowing you and your furry friend the space to explore while carefully maintaining the islands’ peace and tranquillity and precious agricultural and natural environment for all.
Getting Here With Your Dog
Your four-legged friend can join you on your journey to Tresco by helicopter, plane, or sea.
BY HELICOPTER - DOGS FLY FREE
Throughout October 2025, fly with Penzance Helicopters and your canine companions travel free - saving at least £70.*
Dogs travel in a secure Sky Kennel crate in the main cabin, so they’ll be with you for the duration of the flight. Full details are available on the Penzance Helicopters website. Book by calling Penzance Helicopters on 01736 780828.
* One medium-sized or two small dogs flying within one dog crate (75cm long x 50cm wide x 53cm high). Larger dogs are subject to availability and a supplement.
BY PLANE AND SEA
Dogs are also welcome on Skybus flights and aboard the Scillonian III ferry, both of which arrive at St Mary’s. From there, it’s just a short boat transfer to Tresco.
