Watch House


Where better to base yourself during an island holiday than a converted boathouse sitting on the shoreline? At Watch House, the beach is your front garden and island sunrises, your alarm clock.

The Cottage


Picture perfect Watch House stands atop Ravens Porth, unmissable with its white walls and cheery blue detailing. Indoors, the relaxed beach house vibe continues with wooden floors stained in a teal hue, a resplendent sunroom spanning the length of the house, and a dining table overlooking the beach and its marram grass border.

Upstairs, a cluster of cosy bedrooms provide space for eight, with the sea views from the master bedroom stealing the show. Outside, Watch House enjoys a vast private lawn as well as courtyard space neighbouring the beach.
 

The Location


The sailing school is on your doorstep, with a scattering of uninhabited isles and islets just further afield and waiting to be explored by sailing dinghy or paddleboard. Grab a last-minute dinner of wood fired pizzas from the Ruin Beach Café next door – best consumed on the terrace or perhaps the beach below.

As day breaks, take your morning coffee to the shoreline and watch the changing sky.

First floor: 2 steps up from kitchen/diner to small area at foot of stairs with sea view. Up short flight of stairs (7 steps), with hand rail, to bathroom with shower & WC. Up further 6 steps to double bedroom with sea views and en suite bathroom with shower & WC; 2 twin bedrooms; bunk room with beds set at right angles.
