The Cottage
A low-ceilinged living and dining space with log burner adds to the traditional nature of Thatch – continue through into a cosy kitchen overlooking the garden. The breakfast bar invites you to pause for your morning coffee, contemplating which Tresco coastline to explore that day.
A quirky, open staircase takes you to two second floor bedrooms. Just across the path is a separate annexe set off the road with calming country views from its doorstep.
The Location
Situated in pretty Dolphin Town, Thatch is short walk to the Ruin Beach Café – embrace the holiday spirit and treat yourself to an afternoon cocktail. The sweeping white sands of Green Porth will prove irresistible – early risers might catch a breath-taking Tresco sunrise from its white-sand shores.
A little further along the coastline is Blockhouse Castle – clamber up its tall stone steps for an epic vantage point overlooking Tresco’s easterly neighbours.

Our cottages are well-equipped with a comprehensive inventory, which includes kitchen appliances and equipment, bathrobes, hair dryers, and an outdoor BBQ with tools. Bathrooms come complete with 100 Acres shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
This property comes equipped with a dishwasher. There is no washing machine at the property, however laundry facilities are available centrally with a small cost payable per load.
