Named after a rocky islet in Scilly’s western seas, Mincarlo enjoys a coastal perch on the outskirts of Tresco’s central ‘village’.
With plentiful living space including a generous corner sofa, log burner, family dining table and a homely kitchen, Mincarlo will welcome you with open arms. Settle yourself on the secluded patio for golden afternoons basking in the Tresco climate.
With four bedrooms including a bunk room, the cottage is ideal for family escapes or for groups of friends looking for an island retreat.
Mincarlo is simultaneously central, close to Tresco Stores, the Bike Shop and the Flying Boat, but also enjoying uninterrupted vistas towards the twin peaks of uninhabited Samson, and Bryher’s mirroring hills.
Swimmers will rejoice at the choice of nearby pools – two outdoor and one indoor at the Tresco Island Spa.
We love the peaceful track along the edge of the Great Pool – not far from Mincarlo, it passes two bird hides overlooking the water and all its wildlife.
