Cowrie is one of our beautiful, east-facing One Bedroom Sea Garden Cottages, enjoying stunning sea views across the uninhabited islands of Tean and St Helens towards Round Island Lighthouse.
Set in beautiful gardens just yards from the shoreline, our chic one bedroom Sea Garden cottages are perfect for a peaceful escape, cocooned in your own apartment overlooking the ocean.
The cottages offer luxurious accommodation by the night or by the week, with a choice to self cater or enjoy our Bed & Breakfast package, dining at the adjacent Ruin Beach Café.
Situated just yards from the waters edge, the most outstanding feature of these cottages is actually not within the cottage at all - it's beyond the windows. The living room and bedroom both feature full picture windows, making the most of the beautiful and far-reaching sea views.
Downstairs the cottages offer a bright and airy open plan sitting room and kitchen leading onto a terrace. The cottages include satellite television and WiFi, if you can tear your eyes away from the view.
Upstairs, a large sea-facing bedroom with balcony makes the most of the spectacular views, whilst the ensuite bathroom includes a bath with shower over. The one bedroom Sea Garden Cottages are ideal for a couple, although one or two young children can be accommodated on the downstairs sofa bed.
Included within your rental is access to the on-site leisure facilities including tennis courts, a heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym, as well as the Island Spa facilities, which also includes a steam room.
Entry to the Tresco Abbey Garden, as well as golf on neighbouring St Mary's, is also included.
Rates are per cottage per night. Children occupying an adult bed space are charged at the full adult rate. Children under 16 years occupying a sofa bed are charged at £45 each daily B&B and £30 each daily self-catering.
I looked across a neat lawn bordered by pink flowers to a swaying sea. Waves fizzled softly on boulders in the cove.THE TIMES
