We’re really not exaggerating when we say there’s something for everyone on Tresco this spring. With more breaks on offer than ever before, there’s plenty of choice on how to visit the island – read on to find your own brand of Tresco therapy.
1. Watergate Bay Break
We’re delighted to be partnering with the epitome of coastal energy, Watergate Bay Hotel. Swim, surf, SUP or simply reside in splendour as you embrace modern beach living on Cornwall’s effortlessly cool north coast. Teamed with two nights of luxury in our Sea Garden Apartments, you can’t go wrong.
2. Tresco Swimming Retreat with Triscape
We’ve teamed up with Triscape’s Keri-anne Payne, Olympian and open-water champion, to launch Tresco’s first swimming retreat. The perfect introduction to open-water swimming, this will be Triscape’s first UK retreat – and what a location for refining your stroke! Our azure seas are waiting.
3. Low Tide Adventures
If you haven't been to our iconic Low Tide Events, make 2020 your year for seabed celebrations. As the tide recedes across the sandbar between Tresco & Bryher, speedy party preparations take place with a pop-up 'Sand Bar', gin station and foodie stalls, often accompanied by live music.
The first Low Tide Event takes place on Good Friday (10th April) - with a few rooms still available at the New Inn, why not plan a short break around this incredible spectacle?
4. Spring Nature Break
Spring is an inspiring time of year for those with a passion for wildlife. Expert guide and Scilly nature enthusiast Will Wagstaff will lead this break, showcasing the islands’ unique population of flora and fauna. You’ll also receive a guided tour of our world famous Abbey Garden and its incredible range of plantlife.
5. Two Island Break
If you like the idea of an island-hopping adventure, this one’s for you. Spend two nights on Tresco in a luxurious Sea Garden Apartment, then transfer to Hell Bay for two further nights sampling Bryher’s rugged charm.
6. Spring Equinox Yoga
Spiritual and soothing – this one-off yoga retreat celebrates the spring equinox with a programme of timely sessions. Led by Bryher islander Gem Hansen, you’ll flow through sunrise sun salutations, playful Vinyasa, and balancing yoga nidra.
7. Easter Holidays
