Champagne and oysters, oysters and champagne....Isadora Duncan was once asked when it was that she started dancing. She answered that it began with her pregnant mother: "She could take no food excepte iced oysters and champagne. If people ask me when I began to dance, I reply, in my mother's womb, probably as a result of oysters and champagne, the food of Aphrodite!"
While oysters and champagne are no longer a suggested diet for pregnant ladies, they remain utterly delicious. On Wednesday 2nd April, the Flying Boat Restaurant hosts its first champagne & oyster hour from 6 - 7pm.
Come and join us for 1/2 dozen Cornish Rock Oysters and a glass of Charles Heidsieck Brut NV - £19 per person.
We cannot guarantee that you'll dance like Isadora Duncan afterwards but we're sure you'll enjoy yourself.
