Abbey Farm Cottages

Perfect for: young families making memories.

Just around the corner from Tresco Stores, the Bike Shop and the Tresco Island Spa, these cottages are best placed for a low-maintenance family trip. Nestled on the edge of the Great Pool, you can spot swans, ducks and waders from your patio.

Spend sunny afternoons splashing about in the nearby outdoor pool. The world-famous Abbey Garden is a short cycle away, and Flood Hatch beach is just minutes from the front door.

Dolphin Town

Perfect for: being at the centre of everything.

These cottages are ideally situated in between New and Old Grimsby. At New Grimsby, you’ll find our island pub, the New Inn, serving fish & chips, Tresco burgers and daily changing specials featuring local produce. Walk a few steps further to our gorgeous seafront Gallery, full of island-inspired delights.

Head in the opposite direction to Old Grimsby and you’ll come across the Ruin Beach Café – grab a cocktail and a seat on the terrace for an idyllic holiday afternoon. Close by is the Sailing School, hiring out kayaks, SUPs and sailing dinghies great for taking to the seas and exploring the nearby islets.

Our island pub, occupying the prime spot at New Grimsby, has sixteen airy rooms, a welcoming residents’ lounge and quirky driftwood bar.

If a week’s not quite enough for you, spend a couple of extra nights with us. Or why not try our island-hopping break which combines a short stay on both Tresco and neighbouring island Bryher.
