Join us at 5:30pm at The Flying Boat Bar & Bistro for the launch of a brand new album of music inspired by Tresco.
Capturing an island in music
Tresco Sound is a new double album of original music inspired by Tresco. It was written and recorded on Tresco by St. Agnes-based composer, Piers Lewin, who has been fascinated for many years by the pristine soundscape of the island and its unique history and topography.
Piers will share his inspiration for Tresco Sound and will demonstrate the technical aspects of recording this island-inspired soundscape. The talk will be illustrated by extracts of music from the album (which will then be available to buy at a reduced price for the evening).
Capturing an island in flavour
Also in attendance will be members of the Westward Farm team, producers of the new Tresco Abbey Garden Gin, which too has been inspired by Tresco and created on St. Agnes. Sample a Tresco G&T from the bar and find out about the creation of this new gin.
Join us from 5:30pm on Sunday 26th May at The Flying Boat Bar & Bistro. The event is free to attend.
