The 2016 Tresco and Bryher Food Festival will be held on the 17th September as part of the Taste of Scilly Festival, celebrating the very best of local produce, producers, chefs and suppliers.
If there is one time of the year that truly brings together the authentic tastes, aromas and sights of the Isles of Scilly, this is it...
The Tresco and Bryher Food Festival will once again bring together local producers, bakers, growers, brewers, fishermen and chefs to parade the very best of their culinary delights.
For the full lineup, take a look at the Festival Programme on the left of the page (desktop) or below (mobile).
Local Produce Market
Our Local Produce Market is your chance to buy the best produce from across the islands, including vegetables, beef, duck, fish and shellfish, fudge, wine, seasalt and more.
Meet the producers and taste the samples before loading your basket with the finest local food and drink - a true taste of Scilly.
The Local Produce Market takes place in Smith Square, outside the Island Office and Tresco Stores, from 10:30am - 1pm on Saturday 17th September.
During the Local Produce Market grab a delicious, freshly made pizza from our mobile woodfired pizza oven, serving from 11am - 2pm.
Tresco Beef & Bryher Lobster Lunch
For the very finest locally-inspired lunch head to The New Inn, who will be serving their special Food Festival lunch using Bryher Lobster and Tresco Beef, serving from midday until 2pm.
Fish Filleting Demonstration
Join Mark Pender of Island Fish at the Flying Boat Restaurant for fish filleting tips and tasters in his own Scillonian style (and yellow wellies, of course!). The demonstration will take place between 12pm and 2pm.
Supper Night at The Flying Boat
In the evening join us at The Flying Boat restaurant for a delicious local produce supper in the courtyard. Gather around the firepit for low-and-slow cooked Tresco Beef and coalbaked potatoes. Booking essential - call 01720 424068.
A Month Long Celebration
This year, the Tresco and Bryher Food Festival is more than just one day as we join with all the other islands to celebrate Taste of Scilly.
