Courtesy of the new Isles of Scilly Cultural Centre and Museum team, head to St Agnes to learn about artist and birdwatcher Hilda Quick at this free exhibition.
Quick was born in 1895 in Penzance and specialised in woodcuttings. She created designs and wood engravings for the Minack Theatre programmes, and worked directly with Rowena Cade, who created the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno. In 1951, she moved to St Agnes where she remained for the rest of her life and published Birds of the Scilly Isles.
