We invite you to take time out amongst the festivities and gift yourself a little seasonal self-care. Join islander Gem Hansen who will lead a series of gentle practices with a Christmas twist. Please note - we will have tier-specific precautions in place to ensure classes are delivered in line with government guidelines. Do get in touch if you require further info.

Christmas Calm
23rd & 27th December
4-5pm

Relaxing yoga with candles, carols and frankincense oil for festive feelings. These classes will be slow flow, integrating spacious breathing with soothing shapes to gently unwind.

Refresh & Renew
30th December
2-3pm

A practice to embrace new beginnings. We will use breath to realign our posture and focus on strengthening internal resources to greet the new year ahead with peace and equanimity.

We’ll be hosting an outdoor, socially-distanced Christmas market in Smith Square on Wednesday 23rd December. Browse the stalls, sip on a mulled wine, enjoy chestnuts roasted on our Big Green Egg or a Christmas-themed meringue pop, and pick up island-made gifts and goodies. Island Fish will be in attendance selling crab and lobster, as will several island makers and their festive crafts.

Please be aware that attendees will be required to wear face coverings. We will have staff in attendance to ensure market shoppers are socially distanced.

Join us on Raven’s Porth Beach (in front of the Ruin Beach Café) on Christmas Eve for a socially-distanced festive singalong. Come wrapped up and bring a torch in case you need it for song sheets as the sun sets. Our team will be on-hand to ensure attendees are socially distanced, and you’ll be able to warm up with hot chocolate, mulled wine, mince pies and toasted panettone available to purchase from the Ruin Beach Hut.

Please note – this event is heavily dependent on weather conditions – please keep an eye on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) on the day, in case we do have to cancel due to adverse weather.

As an extra seasonal treat, we're bringing our Big Green Egg to Smith Square and we'll be selling roasted chesnuts in the run-up to Christmas.

Come and get yours from 3-5pm on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd December outside Tresco Stores.
