Teresa Pemberton
Teresa’s palette of colour which she uses in her expressive, atmospheric semi-abstract paintings, lends itself to the natural colours found in Cornwall. The turquoise coloured sea, the dramatic pink and red skies at sunset and sunrise; the rocks and stones which make up the coves of the South West.
There is a wide variety of textures in her oil paintings, with layers of under-painting glimpsed through the final surface which has been drawn into creating a scroffito effect. “Painting is a passion – making a statement to the world about my observations of nature whilst walking in the landscape”.
