The new collection focuses on the tranquillity of Tresco's coast line.  Turquoise sea, white sand and blue skies give Tresco's beaches a unique and distinctive appeal.  This collection celebrates the special quality of light on this island paradise.

I work quickly to capture the rhythm of the tide, the breaking of a wave on the shore line.  I am fascinated by the ebb and flow of the tide line which results in patterns of seaweed and pebbles creating a wonderful sense of perspective.  Oil paint is applied wet on wet.  The paint is pushed and pulled across my chosen working surface to capture the moment.
