I love returning to paint Tresco year after year. Armed with brushes and paints, a whole weeks worth of painting on and around the island is always an exciting prospect. Every visit to Tresco provides something new to discover in terms of painting and the transition from season to season always inspires.
The cool sombre colours of winter give way to the joyous ones of spring and summer, and for this collection have inspired me to create paintings full of optimism and light, that I hope have the potential to carry the viewer back to the paradise that is Tresco.
