Tresco is perfect for all ages to enjoy time together - there is something for all to do, from the energetic to the laid back.

Boat trips - Bryher Boat Services visit other islands daily as well as trips to see birds and seals. Private charters and fishing trips are also available.  Services are more limited during the winter months.  For further details visit www.bryherboats.co.uk contact Bryher Boats on (01720) 422886

Cycling - Bike hire is available on Tresco and St Mary's.

Diving - Explore Scilly under the sea, swim with seals or simply snorkel off one of the many sandy beaches surrounding the island with Isles of Scilly Diving School (based on St Martins)Visit http://www.scillydiving.com/ Tel 01720 422848

Fishing - Trips can be arranged through Bryher Boat Services (see above) or you can fish from the shore, the deep clear waters are perfect for Pollock, Mackerel, and Mullet to name but a few. Or when tides permit simply grab a net and go shrimping!

Golf - There is a 9 hole course on St Mary's complete with 10th or 19th hole!(if you go round twice). Tel. (01720) 422692

Horse Riding - St Mary's Riding Centre caters for a range of abilities from the novice to the experienced rider. The guided hacks through beautiful landscapes and beaches are highly recommended, as is a trip in their horse-drawn carriage. Tel. (01720) 423855

Swimming - As well as the lovely clear waters surrounding us, there are several outdoor heated pools on Tresco for the use of our guests. Members of the Flying Boat Club have the use of the club's indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. The Island Hotel also has its own indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym for its guests.
