Gallery Tresco
Situated at New Grimsby Harbour, Gallery Tresco was formerly an old boathouse. Converted in 1992, the Gallery has built a reputation for showing art exhibitions from some of Cornwall's leading contemporary artists, and also giving exposure to those less established. To see examples of some of the artists' work please refer to the Artwork pages. Visitors to the Island may be interested to view the Tresco Art Collection some of which is on display at the Island Hotel, Hell Bay and at the Flying Boat Club.
Gallery Tresco also has available a fabulous selection of ceramics, sculpture,jewellery, studio glass, clothing, prints, cards and gifts.
The Gallery art exhibitions will be hosting 3 collections and 3 exhibitions during 2008 featuring a huge variety of work by more artists than we have been able to represent in the past. The Spring, Summer and Christmas collections will all run for over a month allowing us time to rotate the paintings, giving everything its moment in the spotlight. Gallery Tresco is open from mid-February to the end of October, Monday - Saturday from 9.30 to 5pm, Sunday 10.30am to 4.30pm. To visit us you may either come for the day, or stay at the Island Hotel, New Inn or one of our holiday cottages.
