Although I am lucky enough to live near the Hayle Estuary - where birdlife is in abundance - the offer to spend time on Tresco was definitely an opportunity not to be missed. I find you can get quite close to the birds on the Islands and there is always something different to see, also having the opportunity to search for driftwood is always welcome! The weather was good and the birds plentiful, I have taken some ideas from the sketches made while on Tresco for this exhibition. I accentuate some shapes and others I like to show in a shoreline setting. Finding the art in nature is one of my biggest pleasures.
