The Clubhouse
All members enjoy the use of The Flying Boat Club House during their week. The Club is situated next to the beachfront houses and has views across New Grimsby harbour. The Club is open for breakfast through to dinner and has been created as a place where members can entertain their guests and meet other members.
The Club has a quiet ambience. It has a collection of fine art, and provides a comfortable environment in which to read the papers, have an espresso, a drink or a meal. In summer there is a secluded walled terrace in which to sit, and in winter a friendly log-fire. The Club is on two levels with a restaurant upstairs and the bar lounge downstairs.
Executive Chef Peter Hingston has created an excellent eclectic menu offering food all day, 7 days a week. From the international breakfast menu, to specialist pastas, to daily changing specials, to locally sourced steaks and lobster landed daily from the surrounding waters. A 'light & healthy' option is included and children are catered for expertly.
This all accompanied by a premium range of drinks, real ale & lager on draught and an interesting yet concise wine list.
