The majority of our staff are employed from February until November during our main season but we welcome CV's all year round as we recruit throughout the year for both seasonal and permanent positions across the Estate.

Seasonal Chef positions 

Hell Bay
Is the only hotel on Bryher, one of the finest escape hotels in the UK.  Very contemporary and chic in a stunning location.  Serving consistently delicious food featuring quality local produce. The hotel has 4 AA Stars, 3 Rosettes.  
The hotel will require:

Kitchen

Kitchen Porters, Commis Chef, Sous Chefs and Chef de Partie, Pastry Chefs

Criteria - For all positions the applicant must be aged 18+, have the ability to work as part of a busy team and as well as independently, have excellent time keeping and hold a basic food & hygiene certificate.  Relevant kitchen experience required ie. 12 months to 3 years in high quality establishments and depending on position hold either NVQ1 & 2 or City & Guilds qualifications.

THE NEW INN

Award winning busy pub with rooms serving fabulous food and drink within a friendly and cosy setting by New Grimsby requires:

KITCHEN

Kitchen Porter, Commis Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie, Pastry Chefs.

Criteria - Applicants for Chef vacancies must be ages 18+ with some formal training either at college or thorugh work placements and experience in basic salad, vegetable, meat and fish preparation.  Must be hard working and an enthusiastic food lover, self-motivated, flexible and able to maintain high standards in busy conditions. Must be able to work well in a team and be able to use own initiative.  Basic Food Hygiene certificate is essential.  For the more senior roles previoius experience as a Chef in a similar position for 12 months or more is essential.

An exciting and challenging opportunity available for a well organised kitchen teams.  We will have vacancies for a Kitchen Porter, Commis Chef and Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef.
