Island Hotel redevelopment - the Sea Garden Cottages
An exciting re-development of the Island Hotel commenced at the end of the 2010 season.
The new design for the Island Hotel is for an “apart-hotel", with 25 apartments and cottages varying in size from one bedroom to four bedrooms. These will be available for rent by the night or week, while nine cottages will be reserved for 30 year timeshare.
Residents will be able to enjoy an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, and either eat in the new on-site beachfront bar and restaurant, or cook for themselves in their apartment.
The timetable for the development is as follows:
Winter 2010: Conversion of seven timeshare properties from the existing Rocks, Castles and Flower Wing, ready for occupation in Spring 2011. In addition, there will be five new one bedroomed apartments also ready for Spring 2011.
Winter 2011: Completion of the remaining two timeshare properties and eleven rental cottages, ready for occupation spring 2012.
